Trying this new thing where every time I go to swipe open my phone I pause and give my body a love note breath instead/before continuing on. . It’s a cue to check-in...what am I doing here?! Do I need to be here? Or could I be better off just breathing tenderly like this for awhile instead? . Simple #femininewholeness mental hack that TOTALLY works: . Pay attention to whose understanding you seek. More important than the question “Does *he/she/they* understand me?” . is this question: . Am *I* proud of me? . Trust me, I’ve been the one to obsess about the former (🙋🏼‍♀️strong desire to be understood right here) BUT the more I’ve trained my mind to shift the focus from *being understood* to *feeling proud*, the more empowered I feel and freer I become to be happy doing my own thing/thinking my own thoughts because I like myself and I can stand behind the choices I’m making. . And that’s ultimately what we want most, right? To feel proud of who we are! And good news—that doesn’t require anyone else “getting us” first. You got the power, ladies. Be proud of who you are. Shift the questions you dwell on and you’ll inevitably shift your entire experience of being a woman. 💗👊🏼👊🏼💗

But we made it here!
